Saw Logs

MTE is committed to processing all feasible timber products harvested consistent with the Annual Allowable Cut. From time-to-time lesser species are sold in log form including Hickory, White Oak, Butternut, Cherry, and Elm. Primary sawlogs sold are Hemlock. Saw logs are random length ranging from 8 to 16 feet, with diameters being 8 inches and larger. Saw logs sold are in grades 1 through 4, and Woods Run.
