MTE’s ‘Trees for Peace’ Initiative Featured for Promoting Unity in Milwaukee

Menominee Tribal Enterprises (MTE) and the Menominee Nation’s dedication to peace and community healing was recently highlighted in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The "Trees for Peace" initiative involved planting eastern white pine trees in Milwaukee during Earth Week, sourced from the Menominee Nation's sustainably managed forest.

These plantings serve as a powerful symbol of unity, rooted in Native American traditions of peace. The project, part of the Menominee Peace Tree Project, shows MTE's commitment to ancestral values and using tradition to bring positive change to the community.
