NCAA Final Four Court Floor Constructed with MTE Wood
MTE worked with the National College Athletic Association to provide the wood for the NCAA Final Four court floors. A team of foresters worked to transport sustainably-sourced maple from the Menominee Forest to MTE's lumbermill, where it was processed into high-quality court floorboards. MTE and the Menomonee Tribal School held a Wood Dedication Ceremony on Nov. 29, 2018, where they celebrated the efforts and history of both the MTE team, and the Menominee Forest.
